Adeboye, Copeland, Saraki, others celebrate CU chancellor, Oyedepo, at 66

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, wife of late Bishop Benson Idahosa and the Archbishop of the Church of God Mission International, Margaret, and Kenneth and Gloria Copeland of  Kenneth Copeland Ministries were some of the people that celebrated the Chancellor of Covenant University, Dr. David Oyedepo as he clocked 66 years on Sunday, September 27, 2020.

Video clips  of recorded  birthday messages showed  both Adeboye and his wife,Foluke, singing a birthday song for Oyedepo,  who is the founder and the presiding bishop at the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel.

In the same vein,  Copeland, Bishop Mrs Idahosa, Dr and Mrs Enenche of Dunamis Church as well as Pastor  and Mrs David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries, all sent their best wishes in videos shown during all the three services held  at the Living Faith Church in Canaanland, Ota  on Sunday.

In addition to this, Pastor Adeboye took to his Twitter page to celebrate Oyedepo, describing him as a global phenomenon.  According to Adeboye, Oyedepo has stood out as a light to his generation.

He wrote on Twitter: “To a man of God who has consistently proved that the great commission is our utmost priority as believers and has become a global phenomenon standing out as a light to his generation, I want to say a Happy Birthday to you @davidoyedepomin.

“I pray that my Daddy will continue to take you from glory to glory and from strength to strength in Jesus name. On behalf of the Adeboye and RCCG family, happy birthday dear Bishop.”

In the same vein, former Senate President, Dr. Buloka Saraki, on his Twitter handle, said, “I offer hearty wishes to the Founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo on the occasion of his 66th birthday. I pray the almighty will keep him in good health in the service of God and humanity for many years to come.”
