BREAKING: Putin finally congratulates King Charles III, sends strong message to UK

Russian President Vladimir Putin has finally congratulated the new monarch of the United Kingdom, King Charles III, according to Kremlin.
Putin had initially been reluctant after Charles took to the monarchical position following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

King Charles III was officially proclaimed King of Britain on Saturday by the accession council.
In a telegram message retrieved by Agence France Presse, Putin wished the new king “success” together with the United Kingdom.
In his words, Putin said: “Please receive my sincerest congratulations on your accession to the throne,” Putin said in a telegram addressed to Britain’s King Charles III the Kremlin said. “I wish Your Majesty success, robust health, and above all the best.”
