The Living Faith Church Worldwide, also Known as the Winners International Chapel, has built a library for the Dumegi community in Kwara State in commemoration of the Platinum celebration of the church’s founder, Bishop David Oyedepo.
Dumegi is very pivotal to Bishop Oyedepo’s story as it was the village where he was given the prophetic bush lamp after helping to build a church there under 70 days as a young man on a job assignment to the village.
The BDO Library, built to honour the Platinum birthday of the bishop, was officially inaugurated on September 24, 2024, just three days before the Bishop turns 70.
The Library is furnished with over 100 titles from the Dominion Bookshop, including legacy books, as well as approximately 200 educational textbooks, dictionaries, and literature books. Facilities also include reading tables, chairs, and an adjoining administrative office equipped with modern conveniences.
A team of 24 representatives from the state headquarters, led by State Pastor Abiodun Joseph, made the three-hour journey to Dumagi, Kwara State in a convoy of four vehicles.
Alongside district pastors and members of the LFC New Jerusalem Church Board, they were warmly welcomed by community leader Mall Ibrahim Muhammed and his council, with enthusiastic local residents gathering for the occasion.

The commissioning ceremony commenced at 11:30 AM, featuring a structured legacy dedication programme that included opening prayers, praise and worship, and a powerful charge.
An altar call was made, during which prayers were raised for the community. The highlight of the event came with a special prayer and anointing of the Library, signifying its dedication to the glory of God.
As the doors opened, community leaders and pastors were invited to walk through and take photos, marking a significant milestone for education in the area.
The key to the Library was handed over to Mall Ibrahim Muhammed, who in turn entrusted it to the Community Education Officer.
Attendees were encouraged to ensure the Library’s judicious use, and branded exercise books were distributed to local pupils and students present.
Expressing heartfelt gratitude, Mall Ibrahim Muhammed reflected on his connection to Bishop Oyedepo, recalling their shared history as classmates at Government Secondary School Omu Aran.
He reiterated the Bishop’s longstanding commitment to education and humanity, promising that the Library would be well cared for by the community.
