JUST IN : Trump reacts to Biden’s withdrawal from presidential election

In a swift response to President Joe Biden’s announcement that he is not running for re-election in 2024, former United States President, Donald Trump, expressed his strong opinions on the matter, claiming Biden was never suitable for the presidency.

On Truth Social, Trump posted, “Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve – And never was!” He criticized Biden’s capability, asserting that even those close to Biden, including his medical team and the media, were aware of his shortcomings.

Trump also reiterated his familiar campaign rhetoric, criticizing Biden’s handling of border issues. He added, “We will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remedy the damage he has done very quickly. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Following Biden’s announcement, Trump’s campaign seized the moment to launch a new fundraising effort, stating, “But RIGHT NOW, he just quit the race in COMPLETE DISGRACE!”

President Biden’s announcement on Sunday confirmed his decision to withdraw from the 2024 election. “It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” Biden stated.

Biden also endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as his successor. “My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made.”

In a post on X, Biden declared, “Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.”

Biden is expected to provide more details on his decision in a national address later this week.
