Osinbajo committee recommends suspension of NYSC camp for two years
The Vice President Yemi Osinbajo-led Economic Sustainability Committee has advised the Federal Government to suspend the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp for two years.
This recommendation was contained in its report to President Muhammadu Buhari last week.

The report noted that the education sector should focus on addressing the disruptions to the school calendar by COVID-19 pandemic and put in place social distancing measures at all levels.
The report also said that government should take practical steps towards providing virtual learning and virtual convocation to continue educational progression.
