President Bola Tinubu has strongly condemned the recent bomb attacks in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, which resulted in the loss of numerous lives and injured several others.
In a statement released by his media aide, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the President described the attacks as “desperate acts of terror” and a sign of the pressure mounted against terrorists.
President Tinubu assured that his administration is taking necessary measures to secure citizens and ensure that those responsible for the attacks are brought to justice.
He also condoled with the victims, their families, and the government and people of Borno State.
The President’s statement reads in part: “The purveyors of wanton violence shall have a certain encounter with justice. These cowardly attacks are only but an isolated episode, and we will not allow the nation to slither into an era of fear, tears, sorrow, and blood.”
