Residents in a panic called for the deployment of more security operatives to restore calm in the state.

According to reports the mob has been chanting war songs, alleging that the judgement delivered by the Supreme Court was induced by some prominent monarch some days ahead of the declaration.

The ongoing development has created panic about an imminent crisis in major parts of the state. Efforts to reach security agencies have been abortive at the time of filing this report.
