JAMB in its 2020 policy document gave nine reasons the candidates were not admitted. According to the board, candidates who were particular about certain courses and not willing to accept any other were not admitted due to their rigidity. Others, it said, were not admitted  due to wrong combination of O’ level subjects, low post UTME screening score, UTME-combination deficiency, non-acceptance of the offer, duplication of application, absence from post-UTME screening, mismatch of catchment institutions, and failure to upload O’ level five credits required subjects were not admitted.
