A deputy registrar in the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Dr Amos Arijesuyo, has been shot by gunmen.
He was reportedly shot in the Iwaraja end of the Ilesa- Akure Expressway in Osun State on Saturday.
It was learnt that Arijesuyo , also a pastor, was attacked on Saturday by the gunmen alongside his driver and one unidentified person.

A pastor at the Christ Apostolic Church, Glory of God, FUTA, Pastor Olu Aladesanmi, who confirmed the incident, said it happened between 5pm and 6pm on Saturday.
He said, “The pastor and his driver are fortunate to have survived the attack with bullet injuries. They are receiving treatment at hospital.”
The Head of Media and Protocols of FUTA, Mr Adegbenro Adebanjo, however, said he could not confirm the incident until he is properly briefed.
