Two personnel of the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) were killed by a fleeing private vehicle in the Gbagada axis of the state on Monday.
According to eyewitness reports, the private vehicle was involved in a high-speed chase by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Gbagada Express, Opposite Phase 2 Estate, when it crashed into the LAWMA cleaners who were performing their duties on the state roads.

An AF24NEWS reports that that the LASTMA officials fled the scene.
“They (LASMA) just zoomed off,” an eyewitness said.
The driver, however, was apprehended, as his vehicle crashed into the road divider a few metres away from the fatal accident.
