Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday visited the First Lady of the Federal of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
The former president according to Kukoyi Busola, the first lady’s media aide, came felicitating with the President’s wife on the Sallah Celebration.
Kukoyi wrote on X that “Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu after receiving the Former President who came felicitating on the Sallah Celebration on Monday 17th June.”
This is coming barely 48 hours after Obasanjo was seen donning a cap with President Bola Tinubu’s insignia.
Obasanjo wore the cap branded with Tinubu’s insignia at an event attended by some African dignitaries.
Obasanjo supported the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi in the 2023 presidential election. He had also criticised the Tinubu administration’s handling of economic reforms, saying the reforms were good but badly implemented.
