John Cena Announces Plan To Retire From WWE

Legendary American actor and WWE star, John Cena, has recently shared his plans for retirement from professional wrestling.

During the WWE Money in the Bank event held in Toronto, Canada, John Cena confirmed that he will be stepping away from in-ring competition in the year 2025.

Cena specifically mentioned that his final appearances will take place at the 2025 Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 41, all scheduled to be held in Las Vegas.

Donning a ‘John Cena Farewell Tour 2025’, the 16-time world champion said: “I’ve been in the WWE for over two decades and in that time, I’ve seen incredible waves of prosperity like we got right now. WWE is the hottest ticket in town, no doubt, but I have also seen true hardship, that’s when no one knows your name, nobody wants to be your friend, and only the most dedicated and hardcore fans stand by your side.”

John Cena expressed his desire to participate in the transition of Raw to Netflix in January.
