We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Ibis Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities of the hotel, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Responsibilities:
– Manage and oversee all financial activities of the hotel
– Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations
– Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management
– Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
– 3-5 years work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
– Proven experience in financial management and analysis
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices
– Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Keen attention to detail and accuracy
– Proficient in OPERA PMS (very important)
