One of the major commercial banks in the country, Ecobank Plc, on Friday announced indefinite closure of its branches spread across the country.
The bank, in a message to its customers, a copy which was obtained by newsmen on Friday, hinged the decision on recent developments in the country.

Due to recent developments, all our branches nationwide will be closed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause.
