The Department of Mass Communication, Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), has pledged to foster institutional linkages and collaboration with the University of Lagos (Unilag) Mass Communication Department.
This was made known during a solidarity visit by Professor Adepọju Tẹjumaye, the immediate past Head of Department (HOD) for Mass Communication at Unilag, to LASUSTECH.
The visit was aimed at exploring areas of mutual benefit between the two institutions.
“I am truly impressed by what I have seen here today,” Professor Tẹjumaye said. “The facilities are top-notch, and it is evident that LASUSTECH is dedicated to equipping its students with the skills they need to succeed in the media industry.”
Dr. Steven Anu’ Adesemoye, Ag. HOD Department of Mass Communication, LASUSTECH, expressed gratitude for the visit, stating, “We are honored to host Professor Tẹjumaye to LASUSTECH. This visit is a testament to the growing reputation of our department.”

The visit concluded with a pledge by both institutions to explore opportunities for collaboration in areas such as student exchange programs, joint research, and staff development.
