The Plateau State Government has vowed to shut down schools involved in examination malpractices, citing the need to maintain the integrity of the education system.

Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mohammed Nyalun, made the disclosure on Saturday in Jos, stating that examination malpractices were responsible for the fallen standard of education and would not be tolerated. “If you are a parent, don’t encourage your children to participate in examination malpractice because they will not defend that result,” he warned.

Nyalun commended ITF Staff School for its exceptional educational environment and urged parents, teachers, and students to work together to nurture values, foster creativity, and cultivate strong character traits.

The school’s head boy and girl, Master Joshua Adam and Miss Rahama Musa, respectively, thanked the school for moulding their character and providing a solid foundation for their future.
