The National Assembly (NASS) has approved the appointment of Bashir Abubakar as the new Chief Public Complaint Commissioner of the Federation.
This appointment was made in accordance with the legal framework that established the Public Complaint Commission.
In a statement issued by Dr. Barde Umoru, Secretary of Research and Information, on behalf of the Clerk to the National Assembly, Sani Magaji Tambawal, it was revealed that the appointments adhere to the stipulations outlined in section 2(1) of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) Establishment Act.
Among the other appointed commissioners are Ubong Uwah (Akwa Ibom), Yusuf Abdullahi Ata (Kano State), Olayisade Akintade Charles (Ekiti), Abatcha Maaji (Borno), Falola Olanrewaju Jimoh (Kwara), Dr. Achi Ezeora Christian (Ebonyi), and James Ogaba Oche (Benue State).
