Akintunde Armstrong, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, has denied reports of imposing councilorship candidates for Iperu Ward three and five in the Ikenne Local Government Area.
He also refuted claims of boasting to spend $80,000 to ensure his loyalists emerge as candidates.
Armstrong described the allegations as “baseless, unfounded, and idle talk” aimed at tarnishing his image and scoring cheap political points.

He reiterated his loyalty to Governor Dapo Abiodun and the party, pledging to support the party in producing the right candidates and achieving a landslide victory in the forthcoming local government elections.
