The family of late rapper and songwriter, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka MohBad, has expressed concerns over the slow pace of investigation into his death and accused the police of complicity.
In an interview, the head of the Aloba family legal team, Taiwo Odumosu, revealed that the family is seeking justice and has petitioned the necessary quarters regarding the police’s handling of the matter.
Odumosu stated that the family is approaching the issue from different angles, including a second autopsy and toxicology test, which is being conducted abroad.
He also mentioned that the family has faced challenges in getting private investigators to take on the case, with some declining due to the alleged involvement of powerful individuals.
The lawyer emphasized that the family is not satisfied with the conduct of the police, describing their investigation as “shoddy” and “unprofessional.”
He also expressed concerns about the police’s refusal to cooperate with the family’s legal team and their failure to charge anyone in court despite the preliminary report.

Odumosu revealed that the family is expecting the results of the toxicology test and autopsy, as well as the DNA test, which may shed more light on the circumstances surrounding MohBad’s death.
He assured that the legal team is doing the needful to ensure that the family receives closure and justice.
