The 8th Voice of Women Conference & Awards (#VOW2024) is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 3rd, at the NAF Conference Centre in Abuja.
The event, themed “A National Dialogue of Grassroots and Urban Women Achieving Women’s Inclusion for a Sustainable Nigeria,” aims to empower women and promote gender equality, says the convener and chief executive officer, Women Radio WFM, Toun Okewale Sonaiya.
The conference, according to the organisers, will commence with breakfast at 8 am, followed by the main event at 9 am. The organisers have extended an invitation to all stakeholders to attend and participate in the dialogue.
Okewale Sonaiya says the #VOW2024 conference and awards ceremony seeks to recognise and celebrate women’s achievements and contributions to sustainable development in Nigeria.
The event is expected to be an enriching experience, with opportunities for networking, learning, and inspiration.
