Dr. Nsikak Akpan, a lecturer at the Foreign Links College of Health Technology in Moro, Osun State, has announced plans to embark on a 150-hour marathon lecture beginning September 23, 2024.

This initiative aims to break the current Guinness World Record for the longest lecture, held by Indian Professor Arvin Mishra at 139 hours and 52 minutes since 2014.

In a statement to journalists on campus, Dr. Akpan revealed that his application to the Guinness World Records has been approved.
