Award-winning artist David Adeleke, known as Davido, has voiced his discontent with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) regarding the challenges encountered during the Edo State governorship election.

In a passionate social media post, Davido stated, “Bruh, #inecnigeria fix up! We can’t continue like this… wtf.”

He emphasized his vested interest in the election, noting, “My mum is from Edo, for those wondering why I’m interested in the election, but we as Nigerians should be concerned. #inecnigeria shame on you.”

The musician’s frustration followed a comment by Deputy Inspector General of Police Frank Mba, who urged voters to cast their ballots and return home. Davido countered, “Loooooooool, go where???” suggesting that voters should remain at their polling units instead.

Davido, who has endorsed the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Asue Ighodalo, called for better management of the electoral process, referencing his prior experiences during elections in Osun State.
