The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has apologised for saying that non-tithers would not go to heaven.
Adeboye, addressing some members of the church in a video posted on X by the RCCG young adults and youths, said, “I’m apologizing for saying,’If you don’t pay tithe, you won’t make it to heaven.’
I’m sorry, that’s wrong, and it’s not in the Bible. What the Bible says is, ‘Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see God. – Pastor Adeboye.
The statement once credited to the pastor has been a source of controversy before now.
