Earl Simmons an American rapper popularly known as DMX was a devoted Christian, a deacon, and a father. He was in a critical state when he was rushed to the hospital on the 2nd of April for drug overdose.

Fans of the music industry joined his friends and family in praying for his survival, vigils were held outside the hospital where he was admitted in New York. Sadly, a statement released today the 9th of April by his family disclosed the news of his death, he died at the age of 50.
