Nigerian artist Olanrewaju ‘Sound Sultan‘ Fasasi has spoken for the first time since it was reported he was diagnosed with throat cancer.
On Wednesday morning, reports surfaced claiming that the musician was flown abroad to commence chemotherapy following a throat cancer diagnosis.
In light of the reports, several Nigerians took to social media to wish him a quick recovery, while many others questioned the veracity of the report.
However, reacting in an Instagram post to commemorate this year’s Eid-al-Fitr on Thursday, the award-winning singer announced that he would disclose the circumstances surrounding his health in due course.
