The University of Ibadan has described as fake, reports about the university’s resumption date and commencement of academic activities.
According to the University Registrar, Olubunmi Faluyi, the story being circulated did not emanate from the university.
He said, “The story being circulated on the social media on the resumption date for academic activities and guidelines to follow by the students in the University of Ibadan did not emanate from the university. Hence, the information is not genuine.
“Date of resumption of academic activities will be announced accordingly. The general public is enjoined to disregard the fake information.”
