Abia, Niger, and the FCT recorded the highest diesel price nationwide.
The National Bureau of Statistics diesel price data for August disclosed this on Friday.

Accordingly, the data reported the price of diesel per litre in Abia State (N970.00), Niger State (N960.14) and Abuja (N950.22) in August.
Meanwhile, the states with the lowest price of diesel per litre are Bayelsa State (N700.00), Katsina State (N771.43) and Kaduna State (N775.42).

NBS stated that in August, the price of diesel increased by 8.57 per cent to N854.32 per litre in August 2023 from 786.88 per litre recorded in the corresponding month
