Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has announced the appointment of Engr. Chijioke Okwuokenye as its new acting Managing Director/CEO, effective immediately.

 

This appointment is part of the company’s transformation agenda aimed at positioning AEDC as the foremost customer-focused electricity distribution company in Nigeria.

Engr. Okwuokenye brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the power sector, having served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer prior to his appointment.

He will drive the company’s transformation agenda, focusing on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

According to Dr. Stanley I. Lawson, Chairman of the Board of Directors, “Chijioke Okwuokenye is an experienced leader who has been part of the company’s transformation agenda and is well-suited to drive its corporate turnaround.
