The Bayelsa State Governor and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Saturday, November 11 governorship polls, Duoye Diri has defeated the Labour Party (LP) flagbearer, Udengs Eradiri in his polling unit.
It was gathered that Diri defeated Eradiri in his PU 05, Ward 10, Yenagoa LG, Bayelsa State.
According to the report seen by our correspondent, Diri polled 130 votes while Eradiri got 8 votes.

Earlier, the governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Bayelsa State, Udengs Eradiri, had alleged vote buying is ongoing in the off-cycle election in the state.
According to him, the party in power used the state’s resources to buy votes.
It was gathered that Eradiri asserted shortly after exercising his civic responsibility at his polling unit at Ward 10, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa, at about 9:10 am.
