Gunmen believed to be kidnappers have abducted some students of the Naval School of Engineering, Sapele, Delta State.
The students were ambushed and kidnapped at Iruekpen, along the Benin Ekpoma Road, Edo State while travelling from Kaduna State to Sapele.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Kotongs Bello who confirmed the incident, disclosed that the students were travelling in a commercial bus and Sienna bus on Monday before they were intercepted by the armed men.
He said that the Police officers attached to the Command had rescued some of them while five of the students were taken away by the gunmen.
The PPRO said the Command is working hard to ensure that the remaining students are also rescued unhurt.
