Three children in Badarawa community, Kaduna North Local Government Area, have sustained injuries in an explosion, Daily Trust reports.
It was gathered that the incident happened when the victims were playing with objects.
While two of the victims are battling for their lives in the hospital, the two hands of one of them were reportedly blown off, according to a source familiar with the matter.
“It was terrible because one of them has his two hands cut off, with one of his eyes affected while the other victim is seriously injured. The other one is a bit stable,” the source said.
According to the reports coming in, it was said that the children were given a juice container to play with. It is assumed that this was a clandestine explosive.
