Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has emphasized that God has endowed Nigeria with numerous resources for growth, stating that it is not God’s plan for the country to struggle economically.

He made this statement at the Methodist Archdiocese of Abuja’s 40th anniversary celebration in Abuja.

Obasanjo highlighted Nigeria’s abundant natural resources, including the Rivers Niger and Benue, crude oil, fertile soil, and other natural resources.
