Governor Sani Bello on Thursday attended the passing-out parade of the NDA cadets
The event also featured the commissioning ceremony of the 69 regular courses involving personnel of the army, navy, and air force at the NDA in Kaduna.
The commissioned officers comprise 108 Army, 73 Navy, and 59 Airforce.
The governor, while congratulating the cadets for their laudable achievements, said that NDA cadets are one of the most disciplined groups of youth’ in the country who will go on to contribute to the development of the nation.
He advised the NDA to give more weight to modern disciplines aligned with sound military philosophy and ideas suited to current demands.
The NDA was established in 1964 to provide primary military officer training for the Nigerian Armed Forces.
Since its inception, the academy has graduated over 19,000 military officers, including those from neighbouring African countries.
Highlights of the event were oath-taking by the newly commissioned officers, parade review by the President, slow & quick march as well as presentation of certificates and awards to distinguished officers.
