Speaking to Saturday Beat in an exclusive interview monitored by Gistlover, Tems, said it was a misconception that she was from a wealthy home.

Despite debunking the assumption, the ‘Essence’ star appreciated her mum for doing everything she could to make sure they had a quality education.

According to her, her mother had difficulties in paying her school fees and that of her siblings because the fees were high as it was a top educational institution.

I am just sending big love to my mum because of who she is. She stopped at nothing (to take care of us).”

“We could not afford to go to the school we went to (because it was expensive). Everybody in that school knew we were not rich. My mum was the doctor of the school clinic. We thank God that we don’t look like what we went through,” she said.

Meanwhile, Nigerian Afrobeat star, David Adeleke popularly called Davido has re-followed his colleague and alleged rival, Wizkid on social media after years of beef.

Davido and Wizkid were alleged to be at loggerheads and their fans have been trading insults at each other over them but a video showing the moment the entertainers hugged each other in public refuted claims they were beefing each other.

A sneak peeks into the Instagram handle of Davido indicated that the singer who had unfollowed Wizkid some years back has followed him again on the video and sharing app.

However, we are yet to see a reciprocation by Wizkid also doing the same to solidify their reunion.
