Acting Executive Secretary, Chris Jibril Maiyaki, made this disclosure at the maiden matriculation and endowment ceremonies of El-Amin University, Minna, Niger State, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Maiyaki noted that the dominance of private universities is a welcome development, indicating the much-needed investment in the education sector. Despite the significant number of universities, Maiyaki emphasized that it is still inadequate to accommodate the over two million students seeking admission annually.
