A member of the House of Representatives from Plateau State, Yusuf Gagdi, has celebrated his daughter Aisha’s graduation from Lead British International School in Abuja with a remarkable gift: a brand new Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).
Aisha’s outstanding performance in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) was a significant factor in her father’s generous gesture, Daily Trust according to a report by Daily Trust on Sunday.
Gagdi shared moments from the graduation on Instagram on Saturday, expressing his pride and love.

He posted, “Today, I attended my amazing daughter’s graduation ceremony. Watching you, my dear daughter, walk across that stage fills my heart with immense pride and love. This comes few days after the House of Representatives has decided to cut their salaries by 50% for the next six months.
This initiative, proposed by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Okezie Kalu, aims to support federal efforts in addressing the rising costs of food and other essentials.
By reducing their salaries, each of the 360 lawmakers will contribute N108 million monthly, totalling a significant sum intended to mitigate the country’s economic challenges.
