The woman lost her virginity at the age of 21, but now, years later, looks at sex completely differently.

Tania Schoultz, a 52-year-old British woman, has been celibate for over 10 years. She made this decision after the end of her last relationship.

As she assures, life without sex is “much better,” so she has no intention of changing this decision from over a decade ago.

Celibacy is usually associated with priests and nuns who voluntarily give up all kinds of sexual acts in order to maintain the purity of their lives. However, celibacy remains rare among lay people.

Schoultz is a lesbian, living in Preston, Lancashire, UK. She decided to be celibate in 2014, when her last relationship ended. Schoultz avoids not only sex, but even kissing.

In an interview with The Mirror, Schoultz explained that her decision to be celibate was subconscious.

“For me, my sexual energy is my strength, and when you sleep with people, you give away your strength. People sleep with every Tom, Dick and Harry. When I wasn’t celibate and gave my love away, it made a difference. Now I’m completely happy without it,” she said.

Schoultz believes that modern relationships focus mainly on sex, which deprives them of depth and quality.

Schoultz says she didn’t initially plan to be celibate. Only with time did she realise that life without sex was “much better and easier.” She claims celibacy allowed her to focus on her spiritual development and individuality.

The British woman lost her virginity at the age of 21, but now, years later, she looks at sex completely differently.

“I saw my friends going and doing things, but it never inspired me, it never made me feel horny. Now that I’m here, I’d rather be like this forever,” she said in an interview with The Mirror.
