Daily Trust reported one resident simply identified as Sadiq saying the abductors however have not released a six-year-old girl who was abducted alongside the released.

Sadiq stated that the girl identified as Ummi was held because the bandits said they like her while informing her parents that they have abducted her.

The victims were released upon payment of N4 million while other conditions were in play.

One of the conditions was that the local vigilantes must disarm themselves.
