Another trader who simply identified herself as Mrs Gbolahanmi said, “The road from the market to the main road is very bad. Whenever trucks passed through the market’s road, we run for our lives because they appear as if they want to fall. The government should come to our aid.”

It was gathered that the chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, Adesina Ogunsola, inspected the road on August 3, 2023.

Contacted, the local government’s Director of Information, Segun Soneye, said, “The government is making efforts to make sure that the roads are rehabilitated.”
