The Federal Government of Nigeria has reopened the D Wing of the old international terminal at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The move is aimed at alleviating flight disruptions and improving the overall efficiency of air travel.
The reopening of the old international terminal, which had been temporarily closed for renovation, comes after the sudden relocation of foreign airlines from the international terminal to an adjoining new terminal that opened in March.
The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, in a statement on Monday, said the reopening of the old international terminal was a necessary step to address the challenges faced by travellers and airlines.
Keyamo also noted the government’s commitment to enhancing the aviation sector and ensuring that passengers have a seamless travel experience.
