A devastating accident occurred on the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway on Saturday night, resulting in the loss of two young lives and leaving seven others injured.
According to Mrs. Florence Okpe, spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun on Sunday, the accident involved a Toyota Camry with an overloaded number of passengers.
The vehicle, marked AGL 36 JA, was traveling at excessive speed when the accident occurred at Kere, Itori around 11:00 p.m.
Two children, a male and a female, tragically lost their lives in the crash, while the other passengers sustained various injuries.
The injured victims were rushed to the General Hospital in Ifo, while the corpses were deposited at the morgue.

The FRSC spokesperson urged motorists to adhere to traffic rules and regulations to prevent such tragic incidents.
