The Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Radda, on Thursday, welcomed a delegation of dignitaries, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and the Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Zulum, to Katsina to pay their last respects to the late Hajiya Dada Musa Yar’Adua, mother of former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua.
The delegation arrived at Umaru Yar’Adua International Airport, where they were received by Radda, accompanied by the grandson of the deceased, and former Minister of State for Defense, Murtala Yar’Adua, as well as former Chief of Protocol to President Obasanjo, Inuwa Baba.
At the Yar’Adua family residence, Senator Abdulaziz Yar’adua, representing Katsina Zone, welcomed the former president and the governor. They were joined by renowned business tycoon, Dahiru Mangal.

In a statement, Senator Abdulaziz Yar’adua said, “The Yar’Adua family is grateful for the outpouring of support and condolences from across the country. My grandmother’s passing is a loss not just for our family, but for the entire nation.”
