Hours after it was confirmed that the private helicopter of Pastor Enoch Adeboye was suspended from flying, the famous Christian cleric was said to have stormed Enugu state on Sunday, April 18, in a private jet.
Adeboye, who arrived at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport on Sunday, was received by the state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
According to Governor Ugwuanyi, the pastor came to the state for the southeast ministers and workers meeting of the church, which is being held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

The governor also accompanied Adeboye to the Government House and then to the venue of the event.
Deaconess Ifeoma Nwobodo and some other leaders of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in the region were also at the airport to receive Adeboye.
Recall that a private helicopter belonging to Adeboye was grounded at the Lagos airport by the Nigerian government through the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
The aircraft, AgustaWestland AW139 chopper, with registration number 5N-EAA, was suspended from flying over two weeks ago. The NCAA reportedly imposed the suspension on the chopper over the alleged expiration of some of its papers and spare parts.
The publication stated that the agency intends to conduct vital safety checks on the aircraft’s components, especially some spare parts that are due for replacement.
