The lawmaker representing Ibadan South-East constituency II in the Oyo state House of Assembly, Honourable Ademola Popoola is dead. He was 46 years.
Popoola died in the early hours of Wednesday at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Tribune reports.
Sources at the state House of Assembly confirmed Popoola’s death.

It was gathered that Popoola died after battling liver and kidney-related ailments for some days.
For several days, the state lawmakers, and friends had paid visits to the hospital to check on the lawmaker until his death on Wednesday.
Until his death, he was the Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.
