Residents of Trademore Estate in Lugbe in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja have been hit by severe flood, as many houses were submerged in the early hours of Friday after a downpour.
The rain started at about 10 am and lasted several hours, leaving some parts of the nation’s capital flooded, including the estate.

Many houses were also submerged in May after a flood took over the Lokogoma community in Abuja following a downpour in the nation’s capital.
Some residents of Efab Estate, one of the estates in the community, woke up to see their homes and some roads ravaged by the floods.
Some of the residents of the estate were seen swimming out of their various houses while looking for a safety zone.
