“This is what the criminal enterprise masquerading as government in Akwa Ibom has done to our people. If you keep voting for thieves and evil people, you will continue to suffer.”

The post has generated a wide reaction with a reader saying,  “I was in Uyo a few weeks back and the number of school children walking long distances to and from school is sad, surely the oil producing Akwa Ibom State government can procure and run school buses for its kids.”

Another tweep said, “From the picture the exams hall is filled with students and the spill over have to sit on bare floor. Govt has to improve education funding and also provide infrastructure.

“What excuse are you making for this shameless act and ineptitude of govt. Imagine Akwa Ibom, an oil producing state not having a standard school? What stops each school from having a standard full capacity hall for an exam of this nature. Is this too much to ask for?

“Yet the same state wasted almost 4.5billion naira in constructing a worship center that has no single economic values to the youths of Akwa-ibom and till today they haven’t told d people of what they did with d 13% derivative.”
