An operative of the South West Security network Amotekun has reportedly been shot dead in Oyo State, according to NPO Reports.
It was gathered that on Friday evening, the Commander of Amotekun in the Igboora Ibarapa area of the state, identified as “Muri”, was shot by some Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen who stormed the area.
Recall that there were earlier reports of attacks on Igangan where an unspecified number of residents were allegedly killed at the outskirts of the town.
The Amotekun Commander was reportedly one of the casualties.
The body of the Commander was found lifeless after a gun duel with the bandits. One of the gunmen was reportedly gunned down by local vigilante in the town.
