The Court of Appeal on Thursday in Abuja nullified the March 18 governorship election won by Mr Dauda Lawal of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

It ordered a rerun of the election in three local government areas.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Lawal winner of the election which the sitting governor, Mr Bello Matawalle of the All Progressives Congress (APC) challenged in court.
