Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, has criticized President Bola Tinubu over his academic records at Chicago State University (CSU) in the United States.
Atiku recently filed a request with a U.S. court to obtain Tinubu’s academic records from CSU.Tinubu’s credentials indicate that he graduated from CSU in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, and management.
In a tweet on Sunday, Atiku expressed his confusion about how Tinubu could have attended Chicago State University without completing primary and secondary education.Atiku stated, “I woke up this morning wondering how we got to this cul de sac.

According to Atiku, “Tinubu then attended Government College Ibadan, Richard Daley College, and finally Chicago State University in the United States.”
However, Atiku finds it perplexing that Tinubu now claims to have only attended Chicago State University in 2023.
He questions how this is possible and suggests that Nigerians should also be confused by Tinubu’s declaration that he had no primary and secondary education, yet possesses a university degree.

Atiku concludes by urging people to ask Tinubu about his educational journey in order to learn from his alleged ingenuity.

Methinks that all well-meaning Nigerians should be as confused as I am with Tinubu’s declaration that he had no primary and secondary education, yet he has a university degree.
