The abductors of the 121 pupils of Bethel Baptist College, along the Kaduna-Kachia highway in the Chikun Local Government Area, Kaduna, have on Friday released 32 of the remaining 63 students that remained in their custody.
Recall that on July 5, bandits attacked the mission school in Kaduna, kidnapping 121 students from the school premises.
On July, 25, after spending 20 days in the kidnappers’ den, a first set of 28 students were released.

On August 19, no fewer than 15 students, according to the Kaduna State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. John Hayab, were released by the bandits on health grounds.
The release of the Baptist students came in less than 15 hours after the abducted pupils of Tanko Salihu Islamic School, Tegina, in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, regained their freedom from their captors.
The Chairman, Kaduna state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. John Hayab, confirmed the development. With the release of the 32 by the bandits, 31 are still in captivity while 90 have been released by the bandits so far.
